Suey leaves a legacy behind, rich in memories of knowing her talents in cooking, paper crafting, and sewing. She also had a green thumb, which was reflected in her plants inside and outside her house. A loving and caring mother, she was committed to providing the necessities to her family. She was a good friend who enjoyed the camaraderie of girlfriends in her latter years. Her generosity was praised by those around her as she valued giving things to others.

At 16 years of age, she came across the ocean to the US with her husband, Quoon T an Toy. Suey Yee and Quoon Tan would raise three children in Stockton, CA. All three, including her husband, would leave this earth before Suey. Quoon Tan Toy 1923-1998 (75), Eugene Toy 1952-2012 (59), Warren Toy 1954-2018 (64), and Nancy Toy 1955-1970 (15).

Suey was blessed to have met her three grandchildren. And she would again be blessed with meeting her five great grandchildren.
She is survived by her grandaughter Janwyn Toy-Blazer (Eddie Blazer) of Portland, OR and grandchildren Alastair Eugene Blazer(6), and Ian Willliam Blazer(4). Her grandaughter Jeannine Toy of Bonaire, Carribean Netherlands. Her grandson Garrett Toy (Xong Vang) of Fresno, CA and grandchildren Jocelyn Shoua Toy(5), Cason Vayeng Toy(2), and Cassie Gaoka Toy(2). Her daughter-in-law Kathie C. Toy of Livermore, CA. Her daughter-in-law Cynthia Toy of Torrence, CA. Her brother Sam Huie of Vancouver, BC Canada.
