Jacob Michael Salazar, Sr., aka Big Mike was called home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2021, at the age of 65.

Big Mike was born on June 3, 1955, in New Mexico to father, Eliseo Orlando Salazar and mother, Lucia Aragon, who preceded him in death. He grew up in a large, loving family with six brothers and two sisters. Big Mike is survived by his daughter, Marina Salazar and two sons, Miguelangelo deSoto Salazar and Jacob Michael Salazar, Jr., aka Lil Mikey, sisters Emma and Rebecca Salazar, and brother Carlos Salazar, his loving nieces and nephews and endless amounts of friends who he considered all to be his family.

Big Mike was a long time resident of Stockton, California. He lived life serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A special one of a kind- with a smile that could brighten your soul. He woke up every morning thanking the Lord for another day and lived life to the fullest with a passion for Harley’s, old school lowrider cars and good, soulful music and mentored numerous people onto a path of clean and sober living. We will dearly miss all that he offered to each and everyone of us.
