Virginia Ann Pruitt known as Genny by her friends and family passed away after a brief illness January 18, 2021. She is survived by son Harold Pruitt Jr., daughter Vickey Curtis and son in law Ronnie Curtis.
Beloved grandchildren Genevieve Villalobos, Joseph Villalobos, Heather Thomas and her spouse Mark Thomas, and Michael Curtis.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Harold Pruitt and parents Irvyn and Fern Sandau.
Genny was born in Buhl Idaho but soon thereafter moved with her parents to Stockton California. While attending Franklin high school she meant and married Harold (Gene) Pruitt, whom she shared many travel adventures, living in the Pacific Northwest and Madrid, Spain.
She had a lifelong career in the Informational Technology field holding various positions. She will be remembered as a fashion icon, dressed impeccably with coordinating ensembles during her working and retirement years. Genny especially enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening and her beloved cat “kitty”. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister. In her latter days she was blessed to be cared for by her sister Sheryl Moore and her children Lynne, Garth, Sharon, Sarah and Joel. Genny will be remembered for her loving kindness, generosity and willingness to help others.
