Pete was a single dad raising two children when he met and married Magdalena. They had five children to complete this small army: Patricia, John (1958-2003), Cynthia, Melinda, Stephanie, Pete Jr. and David.
Pete was employed as an Art Instructor at Soledad State Prison and then transferred to Karl Holton Youth Authority in Stockton. He retired in 1985 and continued to paint signs and holiday windows until age 87 “Pete Did It”
He loved to play golf, play chess, paint and spend time at home. Most of all, he was quick-witted, always making his family laugh.
