I'll miss you brother.

I am grateful you gave me the memory of you playing the accordion. Wow, you were amazing.

I'll always remember the nights when I was in grade school when you brought me along to the Fremont Jr. High gym to play basketball.

I really came along way in basketball during that time. Our Fillmore elementary team that played on Saturday mornings beat the team from Martin Luther King elementary. Boy, did a few of those fella's want a piece of me after the game.

You coached the Fillmore Elementary Football team when I was in 6th grade and let me play Quarterback!

Baseball was ingrained in you. Beginning on the fields of Fillmore, Fremont, Franklin, then on to Stribley, Billy Hebert and Cal Poly. You brought the whole family on a journey that would lead us to the diamonds all over the San Joaquin Valley.

There were many high lights. One of my favorites was when you got to try out with the Stockton Ports at Billy Hebert Field when Jerry Remy, Billy Smith and a few others that made it to the majors were there.

And then there were the softball games. The many outings to Louis Park riding in the big Olds 98 blasting music.

David, I have so many good childhood memories with you. Too many to list here. In closing, I'll say that you made many friends in your life and introduced so many of them to us that were around you.

You were exceptional and you were ours.

Dad probably already has you and Mark watering or transplanting trees out at the Ranch or restoring a classic car with him.
